Junior Associate/Junior Associate Advisor (Licensed):
Responsibilities:
- Analyze investment portfolios
 - Assist in development of model investment portfolios
 - Optimize/rebalance investment portfolios for mutual funds and segregated funds
 - Run insurance illustrations for life, critical illness, and disability insurance
 - Data Input for Insurance Needs Analysis
 - Data Input for Retirement Plans
 - Assist in preparation of preliminary tax calculations
 - Prepare material for client meetings
 - Input client information into company software
 - Communicate with clients regarding paperwork, required meeting materials, and appointments
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance or College Diploma in Financial Services is an asset
 - Employment background in financial planning or tax considered an asset
 - Proficient in Word and Excel (specifically formulas and Pivot Tables) with strong ability to learn new software
 - High mathematical aptitude is an asset
 - Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
 - Strong attention to detail
 - Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures
 - Ability to work efficiently in teams
 - Strong organizational skills
 - Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
 - Strong communication skills
